YCI Cargo Planks are laminated hardwood floor sections recovered from retired semi-trailers. The boards are joined together with a shiplap edge.

Typical recovered width is 12″ with a nominal thickness of 1⅜″. Typical lengths are 8′, 10′ and 12′, and custom lengths are available up to 45′.

Primarily oak, with some maple.

Cargo Planks are sold as recovered. Planks are sanded to an 80-grit finish as part of standard preparation, but are not milled or surfaced. Expect wear, markings and character from years of commercial use. Material may contain embedded metal and should be inspected before machining.

Yes, if you are picking up locally. Customers collecting an order at the yard can select their own boards.

In some cases, original trailer hardware or identifying information may survive with the recovered material. Original T40 bolts can be included with an order, giving designers the option to reinstall them in the existing bolt holes and preserve another detail from the planks’ working life. Buyers for whom provenance matters can ask YCI about it.

Cargo Planks are $6 to $8 per linear foot depending on quantity. Because recovered lengths vary, quantity is quoted against the material available at the time of order.

The minimum is 100 linear feet for local pickup and 500 linear feet for shipped orders. Approximately 500 linear feet fits on one pallet.

Yes. YCI supplies reclaimed hardwood from a single pallet to consistent truckload quantities, including recurring orders for commercial customers.

Yes, and pickup is preferred. The minimum for local pickup is 100 linear feet, and customers picking up can select their own boards.

Yes. Freight shipping is available on orders of 500 linear feet or more, and freight is quoted separately. Pickup is preferred where it is practical.

Orders ship palletized. Approximately 500 linear feet fits on one pallet, and a loaded pallet weighs roughly 2,500 to 2,600 lb. Palletized orders are straightforward to handle with a forklift.
